This is an annual event that has been running since 2020, just after the pandemic. Two mates that play in different societies in different parts of the country decided to get together and have a match. Thus, the annual match was born, Etone GS from the midlands and Cobblers GS from Wales.

Etone G S team is based on players that have played in previous matches to enable continuity and loyalty to those that helped out to make up the numbers at the early stages of these matches when they were short. Despite some players not being society they are given first option to play because of helping out.
